My Week at Xamarin Evolve 2014

I've been to a lot of developers conferences over the decades, but never before had I been an employee of the company that staged the event. Consequently, it was fascinating getting an inside view of the massive amount of preparation required for Xamarin Evolve 2014, the largest cross-platform mobile developers conference in the world, and just as exciting spending the week at Evolve in Atlanta earlier this month.
All the 1,200 attendees of Evolve 2014 got a special Evolve-only color print copy of the Preview Edition of my new book-in-progress, Creating Mobile Apps with Xamarin.Forms:
I had the opportunity to meet many attendees and sign their copies of the book, and I met many of my work mates and other Xamarin employees face-to-face for the first time.

In particular, the "Xamarin.Forms is Even Cooler Than You Think" presentation seemed to come off rather well, and demonstrates several attempts to "push the outside of the envelope" in Xamarin.Forms.
